Playoffs
Written by Chad Ehrnsberger
The playoffs are under way and we came out on the wrong end of a 15-4 score.  We've been playing well to end the season, but unfortunately that didn't carry over to last night's game.  I don't think we were nervous or anything like that.  Instead, I think we were guilty of trying to do too much.  We've had alot of success against Calgary's starters over the last 2 weeks, and I think we might have been overconfident.  Sergent pitched a great game for Calgary and we didn't make the adjustment.  Hopefully tonight will be different, but our hands will be full going against the probable pitcher of the year Isaac Hess.  But it's the playoffs and anything can happen.

Baseball Lessons PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 31 January 2007

I am currently conducting baseball lessons in the Columbus area.  Lessons will be offered to kids ages 8-22.  Instruction will focus on the proper mechanics of the professional swing.  Instruction can also be given in other areas (defense, pitching, baserunning, bunting) at your request.  For the more advanced player, I will go into detail on the finer aspects of the game including training secrets, professional drills, and the proper mental approach to the game.

Personalized instruction is becoming more and more necessary in today's sporting landscape.  I have worked with and learned from some of the best hitters and instructors in the game today.  No doubt the info I gained allowed me to become the 2005 Northern League batting champion, a career .300 hitter, and an All Star in 5 of my 8 professional seasons.  Now let me pass that knowledge onto you.  There will be three different types of lessons: one on one, tandem, and tri-lessons.  For the most personalized attention, one on one would be best.  Tandem lessons will consist of me working with two players at a time and a tri-lesson would be three players and me.  Let's work together to maximize your loved one's potential!

Rate Schedule for Baseball Lessons

 1/2 hour $35
 1 hour $60
 5 1-hour sessions $275 ($25 discount)
 10 1-hour sessions $525 ($75 discount)
 1 hour Tandem $90 (save $15/player)
 1 hour Tri $115 (save almost $22/player)

Please email me at with any questions or to set up a lesson

Hometown Homers

The Hometown Homers Foundation is a charitable fund that I am in the process of setting up.  The basic premise is I will raise money through various means and then give away that money to deserving causes.  Money will be raised through different events at baseball games, private donations, silent auctions of autographed memorabilia, a golf outing and others yet to be determined.
